If Obama embodies change, why is he STILL black?

I write the headlines NOW, so you can avoid the newspapers LATER...

August:

Obama chooses to go on vacation during olympics. Is HE the reason freakishly-cute girl from Omaha fell off the balance beam?

President Bush's favorables outpolled by "genital crabs", "long weekends at your mother in law's" and "phone solicitors who mispronounce your last name". Good news for John McCain?

Barack Obama discovered to not not not not not not not not be a terrorist, muslim, pedophiliac, yet Americans STILL not not not confused by newspaper headlines.

Hillary Clinton applauded at Democratic convention. Should Obama concede?

September:

Some question why some believe that some have heard from some all about Michelle Obama's "Whitey" tape, which is clearly being kept unders wraps by some others, some say.

Vietnam vet and former prisoner of war John McCain set to debate dark-skinned, elitist, won't-visit-the-troops-without-cameras Barack Obama.

Barack Obama shows mastery of foreign issues. Does this mean he hates America?

Obama's lead widens, but since less is more, wasn't it better when his lead was less?

October:

New poll finds if election were held before the fifteenth amendment in 1870 giving African-Americans the right to vote and the suffrage act of 1920, John McCain wins in a landslide. Some wonder if we should build a time machine.

Since money is the root of all evil and Barack Obama has outraised John McCain, is Obama the root of the root of all evil? Some say "Yes"!

People trick or treating in Barack Obama masks refuse to say the Pledge of Allegiance, wear a flag pin and are seen to take TWO bite-sized snickers when the home-owner CLEARLY said, "Take just one." How this will hurt the Obama campaign and be GREAT for McCain."

November:

On eve of election, Obama up by 5, but is it enough to combat headlines questioning the size of his lead on the eve of the election?

Barack Obama wins election! Good news for McCain?

Obama prepares to make cabinet assignments. Presumptuous or elitist?

I got Antonin's cell phone number, but he prefers a text message while he is on the bench.

You know...I wouldn't be surprised, given that this election cycle has made it ABUNDANTLY clear that the media's primary source of information is what people are saying on the blogs.

No way. No how. No McCain.

The same people hiding the "whitey"... (2.00 / 2)

Re: If Obama embodies change, why is he STILL blac (2.00 / 6)

This country is about people working hard to make better lives for themselves.  It is not about some mixed-race kid in Kansas raised by a single mother going against the odds to create a reasonable shot to become the next President.  Who does he think he is anyhow?

Barack Obama has great personal story... (2.00 / 3)

...why is he not farther ahead and why that's good for McCain!

Re: Barack Obama has great personal story... (2.00 / 6)

because he's elite and out of touch.  i mean, elitists shoot three-pointers whereas the hard working people of america are satisfied with lay-ups and short-range jumpers.  i ask again, who does he think he is?

If Barack Obama loves America so much, why doesn't marry it?

He's not the one.... (2.00 / 2)

If Obama is the one, why do the Mariners still suck?

I'm definitely voting for McCain on 2010 unless Obama lets the M's win the series in 2009.

Damn! I'm voting for McCain, IF the M's win the series.

Does this mean we can't be friends?

Portland needs to get it's own baseball team...

Yes, we can be GOOD friends.... (none / 0)

Only if we move the Trailblazers to Aberdeen and call them "The Oregon-Washington SonicBlazers"

By then, Paul Allen will have purchased the entire I-5 corridor and put a elevated 350 MPH bullet train in for transport to the games....

Sure, as long as it rides on levitating magnetic rail, and goes 350 MPH?

Does it have a plug in for my I-pod?
